The Mayor of London Boris Johnson presents Sky Orchestra as part of this year's Open Weekend, as well as offering a preview of more than 12 months of extraordinary cultural events and celebrations being organised in the run up to and beyond the 2012 Games.
Established in 1981 LIFT has risen to become one of the most important events in the British arts scene. LIFT is about opening eyes and sharing a vision, presenting remarkable global stories across London, from theatres to street corners, all across the city.

Play Nicely is a Bristol-based design & creative technology studio who specialise in cross platform developments, entertainment and augmented reality. This site was designed and developed by Play Nicely in close collaboration with the Pervasive Media Studio & Luke Jerram.

The Pervasive Media Studio
Watershed’s city-centre research studio brings together artists, technologists and academics. The balloon tracking on this site is captured by a custom-built Android phone app in the seven balloons, created by Oliver Humpage and Dan Williams as a Pervasive Media Studio Project.
